Background Check:

May we get to know you; who really Nana Lynn?

Nana Lynn is a LinkedIn Coach, who has trained over 800+ students optimize their profile for maximum visibility on LinkedIn. As a coach, I am committed to helping individuals and businesses look great and assisting them to have a professional profile that can represent them well.

Nana Lynn is also an Affiliate Marketing Expert, who has generated leads across social media through great contents, and good positioning. She is also an Agro-Food Process Engineering student and Environmentalist.

I am a Christian, child of God that lives by his principles and standards. I am a smart, intelligent young lady with values and I love impacting with my contents.

Can you please tell us about your background?

I was born in Douala but I came from the west region of Cameroon. I am from the Bamileke Tribe and I live in Douala. I am the second child out of six children of the NANA’s Family.

Briefly tell us about your educational background?

I am a brilliant, smart child from day 1 in school and skipped a class because my teachers said I was too intelligent for it. During my secondary school I did science and I studied Biochemistry in the University of Buea. I Graduated with a GPA of 3.2/4. From there, I wrote a competitive exam, passed and got into Agro-Food Process Engineering in the National School of Agro-industrial Sciences (ENSAI) in the University of Ngaoundéré where I am currently finishing up with my end-of-year project work.

What do you do for a living?

I am committed to helping others.

When did you know you wanted this job?

It is not really a job, it’s my work. I saw the need to help people get the results that I got. So, I decided to give in my time to teach people what I knew to excel as well.

What career mistakes has given you the biggest lessons?

Getting to learn about financial literacy late. We were born into an education system that bury us before we die. It encourages us to learn a profession so that we work for money but failed to teach us how to make money work for us. It designs us to be employee, dependent and devalued.

Since I started learning about financial literacy, a lot has changed in my life. Doing many good things instead of doing the right thing. I came to realize that I wasn’t born to do everything, I was born to do something and that something is supposed to be my focus and attraction. So, I am trying to sieve out a lot of things in my life.

What dream did you have while growing up?

My dream was to be a doctor but it is what it is now…

How do you get to prepare for a content before publication?

Preparing a content before posting is something I don’t joke with. I always make sure that my content passes out a message, something valuable to my audience to educate and inspire them. My content always go places as my audience can relate with it. I always plan ahead, gather materials, write it down, and edit before posting.

What was your first win that made you confident that you are doing the right thing?

My first win was when I did a training with over 500+ participants. I felt fulfilled and the feedback was just amazing. I was so happy and confident that I was doing the right thing.

Who is your mentor and why?

Myles Munroe is my mentor. When I came across him, he changed my life and my way of thinking. He taught me kingdom living and the principles of wealth, purpose and gift.

What do you like doing in your spare time?

I love reading, outings and chatting.

If you could know the absolute and total truth to one question, what question would you ask?

Clarity on my purpose on earth, what God created me specifically for?

Can you tell us about the people you admire?

I admire people who are able to make a change in their world with the little things they do. They also help others achieve that too. People who don’t wait for change, they initiate it.

Are you in a relationship? If yes, what advice would you give to young couples out there?

No.

Are you ever depressed and why?

Not really, I haven’t been depressed before.

If you were to be the president of Cameroon, what would you do for the youth to deter them from immortality?

Create an educational system where youths are able to initiate change and learn financial literacy.

What are some of your achievements? I have not had major achievements but I have been recognized as a young Cameroonian who has influenced her peers with the little things she does and in her ability to serve others.
