Can you please tell us about your background?
I hail from Ogun State, Nigeria. But I was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. I am from the family of six children and the first born of 4 girls and also, a Christian.
Briefly tell us about your educational background?
I have a Bachelor’s degree in History and International Relations from Obafemi Awolowo University and a postgraduate degree from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism. I also possess various certifications in Product Management, Digital Marketing, Event Management – Planning, and Event Hosting.
What do you do for a living?
I currently work as an Entertainment Presenter – Social media community manager at News Central TV, Lagos. But when I am not on TV, I am anchoring a wedding, hosting an event – red carpet, creating content, or influencing brands.

What do you enjoy most about being an OAP?
My favorite part of being an OAP is the ability to express myself and be versatile. I also enjoy meeting new people and new ideologies.
How do you get to prepare a content before presenting a speech?
I do my research before every presentation. I ask questions, and familiarize myself with the topic. Then I activate creative juice to bring a different style from previous episodes. When I suffer a creative block, I ask people around or check online for ideas I can tweak from my colleagues in the industry.
Can you share a time you were at work and thought “I love doing this, I can’t believe I’m getting paid right now?”
Yes, very recently actually. I was at a wedding as a co-MC, and my life phases just flashed. I thought deeply about how much work it has taken to get here. On another recent occasion, I was in the studio getting ready for my show, when I sighed deeply in gratitude to God for the opportunity to get paid doing what I love.
Was there a career setback you faced which you later realized was an advantage?
Yes. I officially started my career at TVC/Max 102.3 FM as a social media manager. Prior to that, I had tried my hands on being an OAP during my youth service, at Eko FM and UNILAG FM. And I was the Volunteer Entertainment Presenter at Mirabel Radio for 2 years. I passionately wanted to get in front of the screen but the opportunity only presented itself a few times when there was a need for an ad hoc feature. However, it never involved speaking. Fortunately, 2 months after I moved to News central as a social media manager, the opportunity came to be on TV when a newly established show (NC Trendz) needed a dedicated face – Presenter. It really was a dream come true, and a platform to grow.

Do you think brands will suffer without Brands Influence?
I don’t think brands will suffer without influence, but I am pretty sure that brands need influence to survive, to grow, and to gain wide visibility. The effect of influence is far reaching, and I am pretty excited that we currently live in a world where we understand the importance of influence to brands.
What do you like doing in your spare time?
I stare at my screen a lot when I am working, so my favorite thing to do when I’m not working, is to stare away from it. So in my spare time, I sleep, go to the spa, or go to the cinema.
Describe yourself in one word?
