October 19, 2022

In an exclusive interview with Goodnews Lanu Ayankoya, granted Bayo Speaks as an entrepreneurship corner of the week. She revealed her experience in business and achievements.

Background Check;

May we get to meet you; who really is Goodnews Lanu Ayankoya?

Goodnews is an ever-evolving creative, who is passionate about helping entrepreneurs build a thriving brand using their unique voice through compelling content. She also engages in teaching entrepreneurs how to make money online without losing their minds by staying faithful and mentally fit while making money.

What do you do for a living?

Content marketer and online entrepreneur.

When did you know you wanted to be an entrepreneur?

I never thought I would be an entrepreneur because i always wanted to be a doctor. But having a lot of time at hand and life situations forced me into the world of entrepreneurship.

What do you enjoy most about been an entrepreneur?

The satisfaction gotten from my audience. The 1…2…3 people that came to testify about how my content was helpful or how it inspired them.

How do you manage feelings and doubt?

Hmm… I move despite the feelings of doubt. I also talk to friends and family when the feelings come. Not leaving behind Helpful books, YouTube videos and podcasts from My role models.

What has been your biggest a-ha moment?

That was when i decided that not having a degree was not going to define or limit me.

What have been your most significant failures, and what did you learn from them?

My most significant failure was when I failed my levels and when i had to repeatedly take one of my medical courses.  It reminded me that success is not final and failure is fatal. That failing doesn’t mean the end of your life, you have several opportunities to try again and do better in life even if it’s not the same thing as planned.

What advice would you give to someone just starting a business?

I would advise that you understand yourself, take your time to learn and surround yourself with family, friends, coaches and mentors who are supportive and positive.

What goals are you still working towards achieving in the years to come?

Two goals in mind for now which is Building a community of purpose-driven entrepreneurs who are faithful, mentally fit and financially buoyant. And also to build a thriving content marketing brand.
