Background Check;

May we get to meet you; who really is Tonia Vincent?

Tonia Vincent is an influencer, social media manager, and Coach. I help people start and grow a profitable, and strong online presence that would skyrocket their conversion.  I started building my personal brand as an undergraduate who was tired of the bad news of unemployment.

I was able to grow my business and do it full-time.  Mentored over 1000+ CEOs and brands on the anatomy of personal branding on LinkedIn and have influenced many brands to give them the visibility that they need.

I believe that personal branding is the future of sales and imparts my knowledge to others so they can use social media in the right way.

Can you please tell us about your background?

I’m originally from Anambra State, Nigeria. A region that speaks the Igbo language.

Briefly tell us about your educational background?

I’m a Philosophy graduate from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University; formerly known as Anambra State University.

What do you do for a living?

I help CEOs, investors, founders, and corporate brands to start and grow a profitable and strong online presence to skyrocket their conversion.

What dream did you have while growing up?

I have always wanted to be a successful woman. It was my dream to be a medical doctor but I failed all my science subjects which triggered me to change my course after trying so hard to win.

How do you get to prepare a content before publication?

Everything is content. I create content from anything that I can see, hear, and touch. The joy is birthing new ideas and helping the Top executives and brands to build a powerful brand. Generally, I love people management…so creating content is never a big deal because relating with people is what I enjoy so much.

Whenever I want to draft content, I must follow my brand content pillars which are;

  • Personal stories – explain who I am.
  •  Educational – Teach people what I know and how I overcome obstacles that they are facing.
  • Promotional – Explains what I do and who.
  •  User-generated content – shows what people are saying about me.

These are the format I use to create my content and I do have a purpose before I write.

As an influencer what was your greatest regret?

None. I have always enjoyed this journey. And I love how I have contributed to helping brands put their products and services out there and reaching their audience.

What was your first win that made you confident that you were doing the right thing?

My luck shined for the first time; when I got recognition alongside Tony Elumelu and many great leaders as the Top 50 African influencers from Engati, California.

What do you like doing in your spare time?

I love watching movies.

If you could know the absolute and total truth to one question, what question would you ask?

How do successful people buy themselves a seat at the table?

Can you please tell us about the people you admire?

Corina Courtan is a woman that I have admired so much. I love the way she unapologetically brand herself and shows her busibess to the world without sounding or looking salesy.

Sometimes people feel that life is not worth living. Can you tell us how you feel about your own life?

My life is worth living because my circumstances don’t define my future. If I’m more determined to make it in life, I will become unstoppable. The word IMPOSSIBLE says I’m possible.

What are some of your achievements?

My greatest achievement is building a profitable personal brand. Building this brand was my first hustle and I’m so proud of it.

 Where do you hope to be in the next four years?

I will give my brand the global relevance that it needs and collaborate with great leaders. I’m always enthusiastic about real estate; hopefully, I will start building my real estate portfolio.
