In an exclusive interview with Tarico Caifaz Samuel Simbine, aka Dj Tarico. Granted Bayo speaks as a face of the week, he revealed his background, way of life, career, achievements and lots more.
Tarico Caifaz Samuel Simbine, aka Dj Tarico, born in the city of Maputo in Mozambique, is a Dj and musical producer who is part of the Afro Madjaha group.
He started his passion for production in 2009 where he was invited by a colleague at school to be part of a little local Studio.
Hip-hop was his production line, producing for many local boys, Gradually conquering the attention of many in this same area.
A year after Studio closed, for the passing of his colleague and friend who had inspired you to work in other musical styles, DJ Tarico enters into Dj’s area, since he had started producing dancing styles, via his friend and neighbor dj Las Motor accompanied him at morning and night parties, who in turn was recognized as one of the best Dj’s Dj’s.
In 2014, the Tarico dj went after the singer Kastelo bravo who worked together on two musical themes entitled “Se aleijou ft Puto Espuma” and “Txibirica”, having the kastelo bravo introduced the Djtaric to Dx nuvunga the CEO of Game over, label in which Kastelo bravo was part of it.
In 2015, DX Nuvunga seeks me to produce one of Cantor Claudio Ismael’s most successful songs entitled “Me Da Tua Maรงรฃ.”
It was also a catalyst for Dj Tarico’s success of the New Joint “A cena รฉ essa cena.”
In the same year 2015, Dj Tarico is presented to Dj Angel, via Donald Dimas, who invites him to be part of his Studio Inovasons Music, where he works until today. Where then the djtarico, the dj angel and the dj Elex form the Afro Madjaha group, launching the success “Txaia Xingomana.” From that moment on, you’ve been given as one of the best producers in the country.
Having worked with artists like lizha James, ziqo, Dama do Bling, Zav, Matilde Conjo, SwB, Humberto Luis, Mr. Kuka, Liloca, New Joint, Claudio Ismael, Yuri da Cunha, puto Portugues, Mussuury, Twenty fingers among others.
At the moment the djtarico is focused on his solo project entitled Moz Piano which is already in its second volume, where in the second volume it had a major global impact with the band entitled “Yaba Buluku ft Preck and Nelson Tivane”.

May we get to meet you; who really is Tarico?
Dj Tarico is from Mozambique in Petosa and a Dj since 2010.
What do you do for a living?
I’m a dj and a music producer.
What dream did you have while growing up?
My first dream was to be an architect, because i like to draw a lot.
Who is your mentor and why?
My mentor is God, because i grew up in the church and all hope is glued on him.
What have you learned about yourself since you became a celebrity?
I have understood clearly that working is a daily routine, honesty and putting God in everything i do.
Who is your celebrity crush?
My celebrity crush is Nicki Minaj.. lol!
What are some of your achievements?
My achievement is giving the best to my family, country and individuals.
Can you please tell us about the people you admire?
I admire my mum, dad, friends, son, girlfriend. Because they contributed to my strenght and success in music.
Are in a relationship; if yes what advice would you give to young couple out there?
Yes, i am. My advice to every couple is to enjoy it and choose happiness over anything.
Are you ever depressed and why?
Yes, I have. This world isn’t easy, some people will want to take you down due to your loyalty, and it is so depressing to see such act. Even in music a lot of people want to take advantage, but God gave me the strength to overcome them.
Where do you hope to be in the next four?
To advance in my field and extend helping hands to the upcoming ones.
If you had to advise young people what will you tell them?
They should keep on believing, honest, work diligently, and hope for the best.
